Draft Sealing Ends

This underquilt has three separate sets of suspension that work together to eliminate the gaps that occur with the typical end-gathering system. Additionally, each end has an extra full height, down-filled, 2 1/2″ baffle running along the edge.

These two features add up to less cold air sneaking between your hammock and the underquilt so you get a warm night's sleep every time.

Ridge Line Side Loops

Loops spaced evenly down each side of the underquilt allow even greater adjust-ability when using a ridgeline. Snug up the sides or pull in a loose corner to keep those nasty drafts at bay.

30 Degrees Fahrenheit

Thanks to a hearty fill of genuine white goose down and a full baffle construction, this underquilt is comfort rated to 30 degrees Fahrenheit (-1 degrees Celsius).

The Puffin Underquilt features a full baffle design, which uses a 3D construction method to attach the top and bottom surfaces. This creates an underquilt that has no cold spots so you don’t wake up in the morning with a cold back.

Each underquilt contains 400 grams of premium 800 fill power white goose down.

Great Price | Great Service | Great Quilt

Bought this to complete my 11yo daughters setup. She’s 5’ 6” so it easily cocoons her entire body. It keeps her warm and toasty all night (or so she says). My only concern is the lack of verticale baffling. The long horizontal channels could make it easy for the down to shift and create cold spots. That said, it hasn’t actually happened yet so maybe it is an unfounded fear.
The materials and construction are first rate. Like everything else Hummingbird makes the Puffin is both well built and REALLY light! Shipping was fast and inexpensive, and customer service was top notch. Highly recommend this underquilt!
