Tree Straps+ 2 Inch
Tree Straps+ 2 Inch
Where's the best place to find those gorgeous giant trees? State parks, many of which are now requiring 2 inch wide webbing for the safety of their trees. Weighing only 3.75 ounces (106 grams) these 2 Inch Tree Straps+ are designed to safely accommodate your next hang in any park. With an extra 5 feet (1.5 m) of webbing compared to our smaller Tree Straps, these longer hammock straps have got your back on those tricky hangs and will keep the parks happy too. Button Links are not required to use these Tree Straps.
Just like the original, these straps are designed by an FAA-certified parachute rigger using real, certified parachute materials.

Military Spec Sewing
Size E bonded nylon thread is the industry standard for parachutes. It's a very robust thread that has been specifically matched to the parachute fabric and webbing we use on our hammocks and tree straps.
All of our gear is also sewn using ball-point needles. These needles gently guide webbing fibers out of the way of the thread rather than tearing or piercing, keeping as much of the material's original strength as is possible.
Whoopie Slings
Our whoopie sling system uses the same mechanical concept as a Chinese Finger Trap to provide a system that is easy and quick to adjust during setup, but instantly locks up when weight is applied.
Adjustment is as easy as pulling a string. To lengthen the tree strap, simply pull on the loop. To shorten the tree strap, simply pull on the knotted string.
Tree Safe Webbing
Thin straps or ropes can damage tree bark by applying too much pressure on a small area of the tree. Our Ultralight Tree Straps keep the load spread across a larger surface area, protecting all those wonderful trees we need to keep on hanging!
Using thin and light, yet incredibly strong 1-inch Dyneema webbing allows us to produce a very small packing and lightweight strap while maintaining the industry-accepted safe tree strap width of 1 inch.
Teensy Tiny
The lightest straps around, but also the smallest packing.
Both straps together barely measure up to a typical candy bar and at 1.55 ounces, weigh even less.

The tree straps were a long awaited addition to my lightweight setup. Brought together with the Pelican tarp and Long hammock, I am able to have a great night's sleep in a very small, light package. At 52 years young, I appreciate this more and more.
Thank you Hummingbird Hammocks.
Quality, cost and usability...awesome. have both 1" and 2" versions of these with extensions if needed. Awesome hang and easy setup.
Thinking of the trees in buying this. I am currently hiking the AT and spending some relaxing evenings in a hummingbird. These straps eliminate the need for extensions
