The Hummingbird Hammocks Ultralight Single Hammock is the lightest weight, smallest packing hammock on the market. It weighs less than a lemon and packs smaller than a coffee cup, holds up to 300 pounds, and is designed by an FAA Certified Parachute Rigger. It brings parachute technology to the hammock industry for the first time. The Button Link attachment system contains no bulky or heavy metal parts, can be compressed into a small pack, and are as easy to assemble as buttoning your pants.
This hammock is so light and tiny when packed, you’ll feel weird not bringing one everywhere you go.

Love this company, love this hammock. Ultralight, I can use it at home and on my backpacking trips. Well designed so that you don't need heavy carabiners or straps. OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE. Buy your hammock here.
I'm somewhat cautious about what gets added to the pack but rarely hesitate to bring this along. On my scale, my single hammock with tree straps and stuff sacks weigh in at 67/8 ounces. It is simple and fast to set-up and take-down, accommodates an ample variety of tree widths and circumferences, seems surprisingly durable (knock on wood), and is comfortable for lounging or sitting, though I definitely wouldn't want to sleep in it. I use it for sitting while eating meals, lounging with my morning coffee and a book, taking a load off my weary feet while reflecting on the day, and stashing and sorting gear out of the dirt. For me, this hammock strikes the ideal balance for the ounce counters among us who enjoy big days on the trail but a bit of luxury at camp. Pro-tips: use the integrated hammock stuff sack to stash the sack for the tree straps, and double wrap the tree straps when you want less slack.
This hammock is very light and appears well made. The straps appear strong, yet really compact and small. I look forward to using this on bikepacking, camping, and ultralight backpacking.
Tried it overnight once and it is awesome for me! It is super light and has a very small pack-volume! Overall perfect! I'm about 5'8" and 145 lbs.
