The Wall Hanging Kit is designed to be sturdy and durable, but taking care of it ensures a longer lifespan. Do not expose the kit to harsh chemicals. If the kit becomes dirty, wipe it down with a soft, damp cloth.

 

PRE-INSTALLATION

Before installing your Wall Hanging Kit, you will need the following tools:

• A stud finder

• A drill

• A 9/32" drill bit (for pre-drilling holes)

• A socket wrench or socket driver bit for your drill

• A tape measure (optional but recommended)

 

INSTALLATION

To install your Wall Hanging Kit:

1. Locate a stud: Use a stud finder to locate the wall studs or any other solid wooden surface where you want to install the hammock. Studs are typically found every 16 or 24 inches in residential construction.

2. Identify location: Mark the spots on the studs where you want to install the anchors. They should be placed around 12 to 15 feet apart, depending on the length of your hammock. Ensure you are marking the center of the stud by first locating both edges.

3. Pre-drill holes: Use your drill and 9/32" drill bit to pre-drill holes for the lag bolts in the stud locations you marked. Make sure the holes are deep enough to accommodate the full length of the bolts.

4. Prepare the bolt: Place a washer onto each lag bolt.

5. Attach the anchors: Position the climbing anchor onto the lag bolt and start screwing it into the pre-drilled hole.

6. Tighten the bolt: Use your socket wrench or socket driver bit to tighten the bolt securely. Repeat the process for the second anchor.

 

USE

Once the anchors are installed:

• Attach your hammock's tree straps or hanging ropes (not included in the kit) to the installed anchors.

• Adjust your hammock to the desired height and tension.

 

SAFETY NOTE

Ensure the wall or surface you're installing the hammock anchors in is sturdy and can handle the weight of the hammock plus its occupants. Always install into a wall stud or solid wood surface. Regularly check that the bolts are still secure and do not exceed the weight capacity of your hammock and anchors.
