PRE-SETUP

The Guyline Cord comes in a length of 90 ft (27 m). Depending on your usage, you might need to cut it to to the appropriate lengths. It's a good idea to plan your setup before cutting to ensure you have the correct lengths for each section.

 

SETUP

Setting up your Guyline Cord involves three main steps:

1. Cut the cord: Measure and cut the cord according to your specific requirements. This could be to secure a tarp, set up a ridgeline, or to use as guy lines for a tent. Make sure to leave enough length for knots.

2. Tie the cord: Use appropriate knots to secure the cord. Commonly used knots include the taut-line hitch (adjustable), the bowline (creates a loop), and the figure-eight (stopper knot).

The Guyline Cord is highly reflective, which makes it glow brightly when even a small light source is near. This feature helps prevent tripping over lines in low-light or dark environments.

 

STORAGE

When not in use, wrap the cord neatly and store it in a dry, cool place. This prevents tangling and maintains the lifespan of the cord.
