The Hammock fabric will shed water for a while, but it will eventually saturate and allow water to pass through. The material is uncoated; its ability to keep water out results from the fabric being densely woven and hot-rolled during manufacturing. We do not recommend relying on the Hammock fabric to keep anything dry.
