Our gear weighs about 30% less than anything else on the market, but weight isn’t the only thing we care about. We also demand that the hammock packs small and travels well. We believe the volume in your pack deserves as much love as its weight.
You'll find no bulky metal parts or thick webbing here. Using actual reserve parachute nylon and our button link system, we compress the hammock into a very small stuff sack, keeping it as unnoticed in your pack as it is on the scale.
Sturdy; easy setup; everything you want in a pair of tree straps.
Great for a tall person. And packs up so small and light.
These straps are as light and packable as naked the cord I used to use.
MUCH faster and easier to set up, and no risk of damaging thin barked trees.
Well worth the investment.
I did a test hang on 4" diameter glossy painted metal structural pipes in my basement.
The straps supported my weight without slipping.
Love this company, love this hammock. Ultralight, I can use it at home and on my backpacking trips. Well designed so that you don't need heavy carabiners or straps. OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE. Buy your hammock here.
I like the titanium stakes, hammock and line I purchased. These days I'm looking for light weight and compact ability. All I need now is for the Pelicans to return. Thanks again for the prompt delivery on my order.
Recommended by a friend and I’m forever grateful. Lightweight, great packaging, and super functional 👍
I love this hammock- and the customer service is AMAZING!
I purchased the double nest hammock, bug net, and extra long tree straps together weighing out at 18 oz. the hammock itself is extremely roomy and comfortable, I can wrap the whole thing around me like a cocoon and could easily fit another person with me if necessary. It’s very easy to set up and take down and packs down easily. I’d easily buy this again, and may even buy the single nest at some point considering how roomy it is. For reference, I’m 5’2’ and 160lbs.
Great set of straps! Lightest I’ve ever used, has an easy and great design, and great to have the extra length just in case you are backpacking in an area you’re not familiar with. Thanks to hummingbird for a great product at a reasonable price.
I’ve been backpacking with a variety of hammocks for many years now, and the Hummingbird Single (for solo trips) and Double (for trips with my partner) have easily become my favorites. Super lightweight yet durable, and incredibly comfortable. Paired with tree straps, this is an unbeatable combination! I couldn't recommend them enough.
Plenty of length to get around even large trees. Super strong. Easy to set up. So light compared to the standard web loop hammock straps available. Easier to use than the plain Kevlar straps I have which are light but take longer to set up and adjust. Ordered both the standard tree straps and the +. I continue to be impressed with Hummingbird’s products and have turned friends and family onto them. Keep it up!
Don’t want to discuss issue but rest assured one email and it was handled without question and that’s what u want from someone selling online. best product ever!!! and i’ve had the cheap and the not cheap. this is by garth the best lightest and just quality of material
I'm somewhat cautious about what gets added to the pack but rarely hesitate to bring this along. On my scale, my single hammock with tree straps and stuff sacks weigh in at 67/8 ounces. It is simple and fast to set-up and take-down, accommodates an ample variety of tree widths and circumferences, seems surprisingly durable (knock on wood), and is comfortable for lounging or sitting, though I definitely wouldn't want to sleep in it. I use it for sitting while eating meals, lounging with my morning coffee and a book, taking a load off my weary feet while reflecting on the day, and stashing and sorting gear out of the dirt. For me, this hammock strikes the ideal balance for the ounce counters among us who enjoy big days on the trail but a bit of luxury at camp. Pro-tips: use the integrated hammock stuff sack to stash the sack for the tree straps, and double wrap the tree straps when you want less slack.
